Little Rock Scripture Study - Spirituality of the Gospels
Wednesday, September 16, 2026 through Wednesday, October 28, 2026 from 9:45am-11:00am
Within each of the four Gospels there is a foundational spirit, a rich spirituality based on each Gospel's unique understanding of Jesus and what it means to be his disciple. In this study, Fr. Patrick Hartin looks at each Gospel and asks such questions as: Who is Jesus? and What transformation does this encounter with Jesus invite? Fr. Hartin thoroughly unpacks these questions and then follows with examples of people who embody the transformative power of these spiritualities from St. Francis and Dorothy Day to St. Augustine and Archbishop Romero. Hartin's twofold approach gives us a deeper appreciation for the spiritual dimension of the Gospels and helps us to be transformed in Christ by their message and vision. Commentary, study, and reflection questions, prayers, and access to online lectures are included in the six-week course. The cost for the book is $13.00. The "End" of Life Seminar: Guidance for Making Moral Medical Decisions

Many of us care for someone who is dying; and all of us will die. Although modern medicine is often a blessing, as death approaches, the options it offers can also make medical decisions difficult. Dr. Lyra Pitstick will offer a very practical introduction to Catholic teaching on making moral decisions in this medical context. Whether you or your loved ones need help now or you want to equip yourself for the future, you will leave the seminar better informed, more confident, and more at peace about making such decisions.

Olive Wood Goods Sale

Olive Wood goods will be sold in the Narthex following the Masses at Holy Redeemer. They will remain in the Narthex to allow parishioners to look at their goods during the parish picnic on October 4.
